Blog Post Title One

A year ago, we asked Mast to help us walk through the journey of brand identity, brand directive, and naming. Previously, we were operating under the name House, but our brand was scattered across multiple ventures we were working on, such as The Keys Podcast, as well as various other kinds of photography and visuals that we were creating. We weren’t centered on one directive and we were focusing our efforts on some of our own independent projects we were building. We needed to form something new and bring things into one brand.

We approached approached Mast with the idea for this new studio that would constantly be pushing into new markets and mediums. Travis LaDue and Jacob Trahan at Mast helped us create an identity— and name—that would allow us to not be tied to a specific style or market. Establishing a future-proof brand that would grow with us through the life of the studio, while not standing in the way of the work itself.

When it came to the symbol for Sett, it was important to convey the idea of constant movement. Pairing this idea with the desire to push into new markets was the foundation for the development of the symbol.
